HVAC Estimator

We are seeking an experienced and detail focused HVAC Estimator to join our team. Working with our director, you will be focusing on the following responsibilities but are not limited to:

• Be the point of contact for all estimating and tender processing.
• Support the Director with cost analysis and project reviews.
• Review, create and manage the estimating process for all projects.
• Manage cost database and supplier relationships
• Mark Up Drafting Plans
• Sending out tender requests or managing orders

Skills and attributes that are most suited for this role include:
• With 2-3 years of experience working as an HVAC estimator with an Australian industry preferably commercial space
• Proficient in reading mechanical drawings
• Knows how to read and understand mechanical Plumbing and ventilation
• Experience on using Google Sites and estimating tools to develop estimate and tender documents
• Knowledge in creating and documenting Standard Operating Processes
• Autonomy and the ability to document the role and create systems

Advantages
• Experience in CAD drafting
• Experience in drafting and creating operation and maintenance manuals

Overview
• This role will start as part time but may be able to grow into a full-time role in the future.
• The Director is seeking assistance in Estimating now, but the role may also grow to cover other duties, such as; General/ Construction Admin, Project Management (remote) and supplier Management.
• This is the first time the role has been created within the business, so we are seeking someone who can help develop the role while documenting processes and systems to support it.
