ShipInsure is a cutting-edge eCommerce platform plugin that seamlessly integrates insurance options into the checkout process. With a focus on partnerships with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, and custom websites, we provide customers added protection against order loss, damage, and theft on international orders.

About the Role
At ShipInsure, helping others is at the core of what we do. Our Implementation team will be a critical component of building long lasting relationships with our merchants by ensuring their experience integrating our app onto their eCommerce platform is done quickly and seamlessly. The Implementation team will be pivotal in reducing customer friction and enhancing customer loyalty through consistently executing smooth integrations, performing rapid but thorough testing, and conducting proactive theme testing to avoid future merchant obstacles. ShipInsure’s team is growing and we are looking for an exceptional person who can work with meticulous attention to detail on ensuring our app integrates faster and better than competitors. The ideal candidate is excited to join our growing team, ready to jump in and contribute their best from day one.

Responsibilities
Ensure the seamless integration of our ShipInsure widget onto merchants eCommerce platforms
Utilize a meticulous testing process to ensure the widget is acting as expected on web and mobile platforms
Adjust the UI when needed to perfect the appearance of the widget
Work closely with both our Sales and Merchant Success teams to ensure the needs of our merchants are met with urgent and exceptional care
Provide regular, clear updates to internal merchant stakeholders on the status of new implementations, proactive testing, or updated implementations
Be exceptional at communicating technical terminology to non-technical audiences

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field or have completed a coding bootcamp or have work experience applying that knowledge
Proficient knowledge of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript coding
Familiarity with frontend frameworks
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally between product and customer-facing teams
Ability to disseminate technical information to non-technical individuals, internally and externally
Ability to work during company hours – 9am – 7pm EST

Experience working in the eCommerce industry
Experience working across multiple CRMs
