Job Description

We’re looking for a highly competent and experienced Import wholesale Manager to manage our import and wholesale activities.
The ideal applicant will be in charge of all areas of international trade, including logistics, customs compliance, documentation, and supplier/customer relationship management. Ideal candidate will be responsible for building a sales team.

Your primary responsibilities will be to drive sales growth, manage key clients, and develop strong relationships with distributors and partners in diverse locations. You will collaborate closely with management, sales, marketing, logistics, and product development.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

– Must have experience in F&B or FMCG sector

– Conduct market research to identify possible markets and areas for expansion.

– Develop comprehensive wholesale sales strategies and action plans.

– Set sales targets and objectives that are consistent with the company’s overall business goals.

– Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, suppliers

· Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and sales terms to increase profitability and market penetration.

– Maintain ongoing support and assistance for critical accounts to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.

– Implement successful sales and marketing campaigns to promote

– Identify opportunities for product differentiation, bundling, and value-added services

– Manage import papers, keep updated on regulatory regulations, and customs clearance processes to help with international exports.

· To optimise stock allocation and distribution, keep track of inventory levels, sales predictions, and demand trends.

– Gather and analyse market intelligence, competitor actions, and customer input to help shape product development and marketing plans.

· Identify developing trends, customer preferences, and market opportunities to capitalise on new commercial prospects.

· Give top management regular updates, reports, and insights into sales performance, market trends, and strategic advice.

Qualifications and skills:

– Bachelor’s degree in international business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

– Proven experience in import/export management, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role

– In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.

– Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation modes.

– Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

– Proficiency in import/export software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office suite.

– Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and record-keeping.

– Strong leadership and team management skills.

– Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
