Job Description

We are a gut health supplement company looking for someone to train in scouting and managing our micro-influencers for social proof.
 
We are a fast-growing start-up and sell a supplement system for IBS with ingredients targeted at the root cause.
 
We also have a great daily product: /product/gut-fix-repair-120-capsules/
 
Our aim at the moment is to find very small micro-influencers that have tik-tok and YouTube channels and get them to post on tik-tok or make YouTube videos for a small price, or as the result of gifting, while also ‘seeding’ gut fix in the hope people will organically post.
 
Follower count is not our focus it’s about building the social proof on these platforms that now function like search engines. In fact, the smaller the better, as these look more like real customers. We can allocate small budgets to the creation of these videos, but we also want to do what’s called ‘seeding’ where we gift in hopes people will post. We have a high-value product.
 
Your job will be to use scouting, influencers, search engines and tools like this to find these people. Stella and Isaac will give you feedback.
You will work with Stella and Isaac, two members of our team, to report on this, and they will guide you. You will do a follow-up, and Stella (manager) will closely track your reach out and process the follow-up.
You must be incredibly organized and build a system for following up, tracking where their orders are at and get a good feel for subtle things in language ect.
 
Our product is very unique in the fact there is lots to explain to a potential influencer only after we are engaged in conversation. It’s important not to overwhelm them at first and keep first messages short and sweet.
 
Our product (the full course not gut fix) can cause something called die-off *(/product/sibo-pack-sibo-and-candida-6-8-week-course/), it is very important we educate influencers about this as symptoms can temporarily get worse in the short term before getting better. This will not happen to everyone, but it does happen in a small % of people.
 
Secondly, in the supplement industry, we must be very careful about the language we use legally. We cannot say a product works, is effective, ect. We must instead say things like ‘Ingredients aimed at targeting motility’ ‘ingredients found in the scientific literature to be effective for SIBO (gut condition our customers commonly buy the product to treat.)
 
Scouting and reach out – we prefer to do this via Instagram as influencers can then see the brand and learn about it easily, but you can also follow up by email.
 
Sending out and talking about obligations / potential opportunities based on what the teams said.
Talking to Isaac and Stella about where you are with each influencer.
 
Stella and Isaac will give you some templates, and you’ll need to get familiar with the brand, the language that’s appropriate, our product, etc.
 
A fast learner and attention to detail is required.
 
Current objectives:
 
Find very small people/influencers that have YouTube’s or TikToks. No follower count is required. They must just be making content, even if only a few posts on these platforms. Our aim is to get them to post, and the less we spend, the better, but it can be helpful to suggest there is money on the table in this opportunity. When it comes to posting on YouTube or posting a series on tik-tok, we will offer to pay so we can have some level of control in suggesting the key points we want to have discussed- such as the fact the system was developed by doctors and naturopaths a, our proprietary manufacturing process and so on.
Seed the world with product – mainly gut fix if the person doesn’t have bad gut issues. Then, upon receiving it, there are specific things we like people to say. There is lots of room to grow in the company but to be considered your application must be thoughtful and very considered of why you are right for this company or could do this role well and what you’ve learnt from researching the brand. Generic applications won’t be considered and the number 73&! Must be included.
 
Bonus structure
 
After you’ve been trained and are requiring less input and management from Isaac, there will be opportunities to earn bonuses for every person you successfully get to post end-to-end, a long positive review on YouTube or TikTok. This will be awarded based on the value of the content to the brand.
