About the Role:

As a Home-Based Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing essential support to our clients. Leveraging your extensive experience in accounting, including two years as an Accounting Staff and two years as an Operational Auditor, you will ensure that financial transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and processing accounts payable and receivable.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software and other relevant tools.
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the financial health of our clients’ businesses.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific accounting needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support informed decision-making.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing timely updates and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of your work.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Management or a related field.
National Competency Training NC-III in Bookkeeping or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
Minimum of four years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in bookkeeping and financial analysis.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or MYOB.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Dedication to maintaining high-quality work standards and meeting deadlines.
Availability to work from home and provide consistent, reliable support to our clients.
