The Inside Sales Associate performs a critical role and is responsible for building trust, confidence, and long-term business relationships. We are seeking experienced Inside Sales Associate to join our dedicated sales team to provide inside sales and order management of our product lines.
Successful Inside Sales Associate are driven to grow an existing book of business and want to grow professionally and personally. The right candidates are dedicated self-starters who work to fully understand customer’s needs, systems, and processes. The right candidates are great communicators with a positive attitude and work efficiently both independently and as a team.
The position daily routine will be responsible for increasing sales by outreaching new businesses, existing customers, pursuing, and establishing relationships with new customers and achieving designated sales goals. This position also supports customer service functions by answering incoming phone calls of inquiry and closing deals on the phone.
Inside Sales Associate Job Descriptions
We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken inside sales associate to join our sales team. The inside sales associate will be responsible for making outbound cold calls, developing new leads, communicating with existing customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. You should be able to close sales and meet targets.
To be successful as an inside sales associate you should be able to build an instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. A top inside sales associate should also be very competitive and a good listener.
Inside Sales Associate Responsibilities:
• Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your sales funnels.
• Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
• Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities.
• Answering potential customers’ questions and sending additional information per email.
• Regularly attend sales team meetings for product knowledge training and sales skills coaching.
• Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
• Explaining and demonstrating features of products and applications.
• Keep track of all the sales activities and sales funnel
• Upselling products and services.
• Researching and qualifying new leads.
• Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
Inside Sales Associate Requirements:
• BA/BS degree in sales or marketing, advertising sales, or business administration preferred
• Minimum with 2 to 3 years of industry sales experience preferred.
• Tenacity to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude when reaching next potential customers.
• Familiarity with office software and phone systems
• Meeting sales goals, prospecting skills, and closing skills.
• Previous experience in an outbound call or a related sales position preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as .
