Job Description

An Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales of HVAC/plumbing repairs/installation services to both new and existing customers through inbound and outbound contact. The best Inside Sales Representative is skilled at phone sales, driven to achieve sales goals, customer focused and committed to building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric sales solutions. They quickly develop rapport, handle objections and close sales. The Inside Sales Representative is also patient, empathetic, an active listener and passionately communicative. They are nimble learners, actively learning through experimentation when tackling new problems and learning from both successes and failures.

Background:
• Have previous experience in inside sales or similar positions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including active listening.
• Knowledge of selling techniques: prospecting, overcoming objections, closing sales, etc.
• Ability to find and assess potential sales opportunities.
• Ability to build customer relationships and provide customer service over the phone.
• Time management skills to include punctuality for on-time attendance.
• Proficient computer skills with ability to learn new customer relationship management (Housecallpro) software.
• Able to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
• Sells residential HVAC/plumbing repairs/installation services tailored to the needs of customers in a inside sales environment, including maintenance agreement, installations, as well as specialized services, to achieve weekly and monthly sales goals.
• Generate additional sales revenue by cross-selling and up-selling to current customers.
• Manage a large number of incoming sales phone calls
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
• Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
• Meet personal/team targets and call handling quotas
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
• Goes the extra mile to engage customers.
• Prepares and develops an effective sales pitch to build customer relationships, reinforce value-added services, answer potential questions to overcome resistance and objections to close the sale.
• Calls to contact potential customers to explain type and value of services or products.
• Quotes prices, negotiates with customer and closes the sale. Collects customer contact information for every sale.
