Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and articulate Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As an
Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for initiating contact with Construction Trades
Electrician Plumbers, General Contractors Realtors, Brokers, and Real Estate investors throughout
California, creating interest in our ADUs and assisting in sales and recruitment, and setting up further
conversations with senior sales personnel. This role requires excellent communication skills, an outgoing
personality, the ability to engage customers virtually, and a strong aptitude for technology. This is an
incredible ground floor opportunity with a startup company that is revolutionizing the housing
construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop meaningful relationships with customers to establish trust and foster loyalty.
• Follow up on cold and warm leads to nurture prospects and advance the sales process.
• Conduct virtual sales presentations to showcase the benefits and features of our ADUs.
• Set and meet sales goals and objectives defined by leadership.
• Continuously improve sales skills to enhance success rates.
• Perform administrative tasks as directed by leadership, including data entry and online research.
Qualifications/MUST haves:
• Good knowledge of using social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) to make outbound
reaches/connects
• Comfortability creating content (for the construction industry) using AI tools like ChatGPT and
video tools
• Presentable and comfortable in front of a camera for virtual sales engagements and know “video
call etiquette”
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Be dedicated, punctual, and reliable
• MUST have a quiet, distraction-free room/office from which to work
• MUST have a reliable computer (laptop/desktop) with a compatible headset
• MUST have a strong, stable internet connection
Ideal candidate:
• Will have a sales mentality and flare
• Have an upbeat, outgoing attitude with the ability to build rapport with customers
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently or with little supervision.
• Inquisitive, curious, resourceful, and capable of conducting effective research
• Technically savvy, proficient in using social media, and capable of learning different software
applications and tools
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, CRM software and other sales-related tools is desirable
• Previous experience in sales, recruiting, or customer service is preferred
• Familiarity with the real estate and/or construction industry is a plus
