Job Description:
As a Front Desk Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to help the clinic run smoothly and efficiently by assisting patients with scheduling, managing insurance needs, and facilitating communication between therapists and doctors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, organized, and able to think and act quickly. Previous office experience and computer literacy are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule appointments for patients with therapists
Maintain administration records such as patient records, tracking cancellations, referrals, and new patients
Check patients in/out of appointments, answer phones, and take messages
Handle filing, faxing, shredding, and general clinic upkeep
Collect co-pays, payments for equipment, and track money in/out of the cash drawer
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Extroverted personality: energetic, outgoing, friendly, and able to talk to anyone
Detail-oriented and able to pay attention to the smallest details
Organized and able to plan and coordinate weekly actions
Office experience and computer literacy
Problem-solving skills and the ability to think and act quickly
Must have reliable transportation
