## We are not looking for those with Life Insurance experience. We are seeking applicants with General insurance for products like business insurance, public liability, professional indemnity, cyber insurance etc. ##

We are an established company in the insurance industry seeking a proactive and dedicated insurance broker support staff member to support our day-to-day operations.

**Role Overview:**
This position involves evaluating clients’ insurance requirements, identifying risks, and creating custom insurance plans, while ensuring exceptional service for our new clients. This role includes handling pre-supplied leads in various insurance sectors such as commercial motor, residential/commercial property, landlord, business liability, and plant/machinery insurance. A thorough understanding of industry regulations, product developments, and underwriting procedures is essential, with a constant focus on compliance.

**Candidate Profile:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and successful professional with excellent communication skills, ready for a new challenge at one of Australia’s leading insurance brokerages. Candidates should have a minimum of two years in general insurance sales, or relevant experience with transferable skills and a solid grasp of general insurance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is driven by surpassing targets, and possesses outstanding written and verbal communication abilities. You should be self-reliant, keen to learn, and continuously seeking to enhance your skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications:**
– Strong understanding of the insurance industry is required.
– Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
– Proficient in MS Office Suite and data entry software.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Based in Australia, so UK/Australian grammar is a must.
– Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
– Comfortable working in a remote setting.
– If successful in progressing, must provide a clear local police check and clear bankruptcy report.
