Insurance Claims Specialist & Admin

We are seeking for an Insurance Claims Specialist & Admin with experience in insurance claims for home insurance to join our team. As an Insurance Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for efficiently processing and resolving home insurance claims in a remote work environment. Excellent English speaking and writing skills, strong encoding and Excel proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are essential. Additionally, there is potential for growth within the role, including the opportunity to train and mentor incoming claims specialists/agents.

Responsibilities:

Process home insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Conduct thorough reviews of claim documentation, including policy information, loss reports, and supporting evidence, to determine claim validity and coverage.
Communicate effectively and professionally with policyholders, insurance agents, and other stakeholders to gather additional information, clarify details, and address inquiries or concerns.
Utilize excellent English speaking and writing skills to ensure clear and concise communication in all interactions.
Demonstrate strong encoding skills and proficiency in Excel to efficiently process and analyze claim data, create reports, and track claim status.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail when reviewing claim documentation, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy throughout the claims process.
Work independently with minimum supervision, managing your workload effectively and meeting deadlines consistently.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to home insurance claims.
Provide training and mentorship to incoming claims specialists/agents, sharing your expertise and contributing to the development of the team.

Requirements:

Previous experience in insurance claims for home insurance.
Fluent English speaking and writing skills.
Strong encoding skills and proficiency in Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in claims processing.
Broad knowledge across various insurance claim types and related processes.
Detail-oriented and focused on completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Willingness to train and mentor incoming claims specialists/agents.

Salary:

$500 to $800 per month – Depending on Experience and skills
