Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Virtual Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in supporting our mental health services by handling provider and insurance credentialing as well as offering outstanding customer support. The successful candidate will play a dual role; approximately 40% of your time will be focused on the credentialing, contracting, and enrolling processes for mental health providers and agencies. The remaining 60% will involve direct client support, including pre-verification of insurance, scheduling appointments, and working closely under the guidance of our office manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Credentialing and Contracting (40%): Manage all aspects of mental health provider and agency credentialing, including contracting and enrolling in Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Assist the office manager and billing manager with credentialing-related tasks and documentation.

Client Support and Administrative Tasks (60%): Provide first-class support to clients, including pre-verification of insurance and scheduling appointments. Work under the supervision of the office manager to ensure seamless operational flow. Handle client inquiries, maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.

Requirements:

Experience: Must have significant knowledge and experience in provider, insurance credentialing. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desired. Please do not apply if you lack relevant experience.

Education: A degree or certification in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Skills:
Proficiency in English, both in writing and speaking.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to client interaction.

Tech-Savviness: Comfortable using office management software and the ability to quickly adapt to new tools.
