Purpose of Role:
As an Insurance Processing Clerk, you will review the insurance documents for customers who lease a car to verify they have proper insurance coverage per the lease agreement. You will also review notifications from various different insurance companies for any changes made to existing customer’s polices.
Contact insured, insurance company, or other involved persons to obtain missing information, or inform them of account status or changes.
If an insurance policy cancels or has inaccurate information, you would be responsible for adding a fee onto that customer’s account and making the necessary notes on their account. If the policy is reinstated, then you would verify and update the account to remove the fee. The position will require someone proficient with spreadsheets and computer applications, who can work efficiently to analyze insurance documents and input data for hundreds of accounts each month.
Job Type:
• Full-Time
• 40 hours per week
• This position will need to work during USA business hours VERY IMPORTANT!
• The majority of working hours must overlap with USA CDT 9am to 5pm
• This position is Monday-Friday
Qualifications:
• Experience reading insurance policy documents.
• Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the insurance industry.
• Qualified candidates will be analytical with great attention to detail.
• Candidate should have strong communication skills and be responsive.
• Keeps organized, takes notes, asks questions and learns from mistakes.
• Proficient in using spreadsheets and account management software.
• Must be able to make decisions and solve problems.
• Must be able to read and write English at or near a mastery level of proficiency.
• Must be willing to work USA CDT business hours on Monday-Friday
