Position Overview:
We are seeking an Insurance Reimbursement Negotiation Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our clinic receives fair reimbursement from insurance providers for the services we provide to our patients. You will utilize your expertise in negotiation and healthcare administration to advocate for optimal reimbursement rates on behalf of our clinic.

Rate: $ 30 to 50 USD/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate rates for out-of-network medical claims
• Interpret company reimbursement arrangements for healthcare professionals, institutions, and ancillaries.
• Review claim payments to ensure negotiated reimbursement arrangements are met.
• Ensure all negotiations meet regulatory requirements and comprehend and comply with best practices, professional standards, internal policies, and procedures.
• Perform analysis of internal and external data to determine allowances for professional services.
• Resolve reimbursement arrangement issues by auditing and reconciling claim payments
• Mentor junior staff through coaching and training.
• Monitor assigned tasks to ensure meeting negotiated dates, quality, operational effectiveness, and adherence to policy and standards.
• Develop and implement training and procedural documentation.
• Perform other duties as required by management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
• Previous experience in insurance reimbursement negotiation or a similar role within the healthcare industry, preferably in pain management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies, reimbursement processes, and medical billing procedures relevant to pain management services.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to effectively communicate and advocate for our clinic’s interests.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze complex data and identify discrepancies in insurance claims.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with team members.
