Virtual Rockstar is seeking a full-time Virtual Insurance Verification and Authorization Specialist to join our client’s physical therapy practice in California. Our client’s team is dedicated to helping individuals move better with less pain, naturally. As a Virtual Insurance Verification and Authorization Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by handling insurance-related tasks, including verification, authorization, and patient inquiries. Additionally, you will assist with marketing activities and social media management to promote services and engage with the community.
Responsibilities:
Verify patient insurance coverage and update patient files with insurance information.
Obtain pre-authorizations for procedures and liaise with insurance providers to clarify coverage details.
Explain insurance benefits to patients and assist them with insurance-related queries.
Track the status of pending insurance claims and respond to patient inquiries.
Generate and send invoices, prepare documents, and manage email correspondence.
Conduct data entry and generate basic reports to support administrative tasks.
Maintain a waitlist for appointments and ensure efficient scheduling.
Assist with marketing campaigns, including organizing events and workshops.
Manage social media profiles, monitor online reviews and comments, and analyze marketing campaign effectiveness.
Maintain clinic website information up-to-date and ensure a consistent online presence.
Requirements:
Previous experience in insurance verification and authorization is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in using basic office software and familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
Experience with Prompt EMR and GoHighLevel CRM is preferred.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
Interest in marketing and social media management is a plus.
