Have you always wanted to work in a small office where you are not just an employee but an integral part of a TEAM? Do you love working with people and building the best client experience through compassion, guidance, and support? Have you ever had an interest in a career in criminal justice? Do you want a job where you can HELP PEOPLE? Well, we have a job for you!
Rose Legal Services LLC is a thriving criminal defense and DWI law firm in St. Louis, MO. We are a team of attorneys who dedicate our practice exclusively to representing people who have been charged, arrested, or investigated for a crime. We also handle closely related civil litigation, such as expungements, driver’s license cases, and orders of protection. We endeavor to obtain the best possible outcomes for our clients and to provide excellent client experience. Most of all, we believe in SECOND CHANCES.
Our firm culture is built around our CORE VALUES, which we require all employees to adopt. These include: • We intend to act with Uncompromising Integrity in everything we do. We love the television show Better Call Saul! But we also know that Saul Goodman is a joke – not an aspiration.
• We Care. About our clients, their legal issues, their records, and their futures. About each other. About the firm and our office, equipment, software, systems, and policies.
• We believe in Teamwork. We focus on the best interests of our clients, the firm, and each other. We do not focus on our personal best interests, personal agendas, or “turf.”
• We embrace a Growth Mindset. We work on our game. We educate ourselves about how to become better and more efficient at what we do. We embrace new technology.
• We are Relentlessly Focused on the Client Experience. We are a business whose product is criminal defense legal services.
We recognize that successful businesses today are hyper-focused on the client experience. Our main office is in Sunset Hills. We have a small satellite office in O’Fallon, MO, and in Belleville, IL.
We are currently in search of an additional full-time Intake Specialist to become a valued member of our remote team. We welcome applications from a diverse range of candidates, including paralegals with prior experience, newly certified paralegals, individuals in the process of certification, and those who have a demonstrated interest in criminal law, regardless of previous experience. While prior sales experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. It’s important to note that possessing a Paralegal Certificate is not a strict requirement. What we value most is a genuine passion for criminal defense and a strong desire to assist individuals in need. While we appreciate candidates with a legal education background, such as Law school graduates, it is not a mandatory prerequisite. We are committed to providing training to the right candidate, making prior law firm experience non-essential.
Intake Specialists are the first point of contact with the firm and the only opportunity to make a great first impression. Intake Specialists politely greet all callers with care, understanding and empathy and begin the intake process for leads. This requires obtaining information and documents from the lead, inputting everything in our intake software, and scheduling a consultation with one of our attorneys. The Intake Team must always be friendly, knowledgeable, and diligent as they work with leads to become clients. The responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Answering inbound calls and conducting the initial intake for prospective clients
• Receiving and responding to lead telephone calls, e-mail messages, text messages, online form submissions, and chat widget engagements
• Managing and utilizing our lead intake software
• Drafting and sending Legal Services Agreements, Automatic Payment Authorization Forms, and Personal Guaranty Agreements
• Scheduling and confirming lead consultations with the attorneys
• Maintaining contact and following up with pending leads
• Meeting with your team on a daily basis to review new policies, workflow, and priorities
• General office support/administrative duties, as needed
The ideal person to fill this role will be energetic, organized, and dependable, with a positive attitude, and eager to learn. Other requirements include:
• Excellent with computers and technology, including Word, Excel, database software, and Outlook
• Outstanding on the telephone
• Terrific data entry skills
• High attention to detail
• Professional demeanor and good people skills
• Good time management and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work well independently but more importantly as part of a team
