Interior Design – AutoCad Drafter/Designer

We are a small interior design firm located in Utah, United States. We work on hospitality, commercial and residential projects.

Role:
The role of Autocad Drafter/interior design assistant is responsible for working within a team environment, collaborating directly with the Design Principle and Procurement Manager. The successful candidate will be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously, helping with various size and scale to achieve their design goals. We work mainly on hospitality projects such as hotel, restaurant, commercial and on occasion residential projects. Your main duty will be drafting in Autocad but will be asked to assist with various aspects of the interior design process.

Responsibilities & Duties
Provide daily review of work accomplished with weekly review of the following week.
Assisting Design Principal with the execution of all project goals through all design phases.
Independently formulate designs under the guidance of the Principal within Eden + Co. design aesthetic.

Must know the US imperial system, inches/feet etc.
Your main duties will be drafting in Autocad Interior Architectural full sets of design projects with a background in commercial or hospitality design. Drafting:
-interior Elevations
-floor finish plans
-finish legends and schedules
-furniture plans
-wall finish details
-reflected /lighting ceiling plans
-cabinetry sections and millwork details
-interior design details

Assisting and creating 3D renderings in Sketchup and edits in photoshop

Assist principal designer with furniture packages, sourcing product & materials for clients

Develop, prepare and produce quality presentations and prepare Principle for client presentations

Qualifications:
Excellent English language skills.
Must be detail oriented and eager to learn.
Amazing communication and interpersonal skills, taking direction well.
Must have up to date software including: Autocad, sketchup, Photoshop, powerpoint and computer equipment with reliable internet connection.

Skills:
Excellent knowledge of applications such as Google Drive, Word, and Excel. AutoCAD, Photoshop, powerpoint, Sketchup, Excel (Revit knowledge is a plus but not required)

Required:
Professional work experience in autocad drafting: 5+ years, with Interior Design preffered
Associates or Bachelors degree in Interior Design, architecture, drafting or related field.

Benefits:
After 6 months we will provide the 13th month salary and 3 works days(12 hours) of paid vacation and 3 (12 hours) work days of paid sick time.

Work hours:
M-F / 4 hours per day
Philippine daytime hours acceptable

Compensation:
If you do well we will raise your salary with yearly compensation increases.
Full time postilion may become available
