What’s needed from you…
At Winmoor Accounting, we help business owners by providing peace of mind with their financials.
We need you to help assist our bookkeepers, provide help and guidance to resolve issues efficiently, and identify areas for process improvement. You will ensure correct bookkeeping records and facilitate seamless operations, making sure that reports are accurate and are available on time. You will perform necessary reviews in QBO for each client handled.
Given this is a 100% trusted professional work-from-home position, we’re looking for you to have rock-solid high-speed internet and a backup power source for those unexpected outages to help keep you online.
We need you to have a professional workstation that’s free from distractions.

What are you in charge of…
– Providing guidance and training to bookkeepers on QuickBooks Online and accounting principles.
– Resolving discrepancies in financial records using QBO.
– Reviewing client’s books, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
– Ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and error free.
This role offers plenty of variety and would suit someone who is proactive, organized and driven to succeed. You’ll need a good eye for detail, as well as the ability to set goals and manage priorities.

You’re proficient in QuickBooks.
You have the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and learn third-party applications or tools relevant to the role.
You have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
You have experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.
You have the ability to reconcile accounts accurately.
You’re a well-rounded out-of-the-box thinker who loves achieving professional and technical excellence.
You have excellent written and spoken English. You are communicative.
You have the ability to work with a team and love providing help to your colleagues.
You are willing to take initiative and suggest improvements.
You’re organized, proactive and committed to delivering high quality work on time.
You are a problem solver. You love analyzing complex issues and developing practical solutions.

Preferred (but not required)…
Familiarity with tax preparation processes
Experience with other accounting and 3rd party software such as Square, Customer Factor, , Clio
Pay and benefits…
