Internal Curing Specialist

We’re on a mission to disrupt traditional financial products and put people in control of their finances. We do this by empowering working Australians to instantly access their pay early, and equipping them with customised spending insights and a budgeting tool in our app to help them stay on top of their finances.

You have that sales edge! We are looking for people who have high resilience and know that the numbers game works. You need to have a high level of engagement and influencing skills. Last but not least, you need to be able to negotiate with compassion, knowledge and professionalism.
We are particularly interested in applicants who have demonstrated experience in working in highly regulated environments.
About the Position
Reporting to the Customer Support Supervisor, this is a full-time position (40 hours a week) and is completely remote (work from home). You will be working with another curing specialist, 20+ highly trained support agents, administrative specialists, and technical staff to enhance our bottom lines, by contacting defaulted customers to arrange reasonable repayment plans.
This is a highly visible role where success is measured by the number of repayment plans that you can enter into with the customers.
Responsibilities
Make outbound calls and emails to engage with defaulted customers.
Following relevant guidelines, engage defaulted customers to enter into repayment plans to cure their outstanding loans.
Using the tracking systems, document in detail repayments plans agreed upon with the customers.
Monitor repayment progresses, send reminders when necessary.
Customer data cleansing and general administrative duties as required.
Preferred Requirements
Outbound sales or collection experience. Experience in these areas within the Australian Context is highly regarded.
Customer engagement skills developed in outbound environments.
Experience working in highly-regulated environments.
High attention to details with business proficiency in data entry.
Apart from the above requirements, you must also have a suitable workspace at home, a reasonably new computer, with webcam and microphone for meetings, and reliable, fast fixed line internet connection (5G backup is highly desirable)
