As an International Student Counselor & Admissions/Visa Processor, you will play a crucial role in supporting prospective international students through the admissions and visa application process for educational institutions in France, UK, and Canada. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Student Counseling:

Provide comprehensive guidance and counseling to prospective international students regarding educational opportunities, program selection, admission requirements, and career pathways.
Assist students in identifying suitable academic institutions and programs based on their academic background, interests, and career goals.
Address students’ inquiries, concerns, and challenges throughout the admissions process, providing personalized support and advice.
Admissions Processing:

Manage the admissions process for international students, including application review, documentation verification, and submission to educational institutions in France, UK, and Canada.
Liaise with admissions officers and academic departments to facilitate the timely processing of applications and ensure compliance with admission criteria and deadlines.
Monitor application status and communicate updates to students, providing guidance on additional requirements or steps needed for successful admission.
Visa Assistance:

Assist international students in understanding visa requirements, eligibility criteria, and application procedures for studying in France, UK, and Canada.
Provide guidance and support in preparing visa application documents, including visa application forms, financial statements, academic transcripts, and letters of acceptance.
Collaborate with immigration authorities, visa offices, and embassies/consulates to facilitate the visa application process and address any issues or concerns.
Cross-Cultural Communication:

Cultivate strong relationships with international students, educational institutions, and relevant stakeholders, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and empathy.
Serve as a cultural liaison between students and academic institutions, providing insights into cultural norms, academic expectations, and social integration.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, International Relations, or related field.
Proven experience (X years) in student counseling, admissions processing, and visa assistance, preferably in an international education setting.
In-depth knowledge of admissions requirements, academic programs, and visa regulations for educational institutions in France, UK, and Canada.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse student populations and stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in relevant software applications, databases, and online platforms used for admissions processing and visa documentation.
Cultural sensitivity and cross-cultural communication skills, with a genuine passion for supporting international students’ success and well-being.
