For the last 17 years, we at ÉCU have created an innovative and successful event that has brought together filmmakers from all over the world. We pride ourselves in building a festival that attracts and showcases diverse and unique projects, giving a platform to independent talent. Every year ÉCU offers unpaid internships to creative and talented individuals who are willing to work hard and have fun! It is an exciting way to observe the industry at close hand and learn directly from people who are working within it.
We offer a flexible program that allows you to develop the skills you already have, but also be trained in new areas that interest you. The areas we look to train our interns in include:
Social Media Management
Partner and Events Management
Video Production and/or Video Editing
Photography
Graphic Design
Website development
Human Resources
Journalism/ Copywriting
Desirable skills include:
Experience in film creation (Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve), website editing (WordPress and Elementor) and graphic design (Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator);
Photographic/video skills
English at a minimum B1 level – we do not ask for a language certificate but the intern should speak good English. French is not required but appreciated. All other language skills are welcome!
Good team working skills
Being proactive, showing initiative and an eagerness to learn.
What we offer:

35 hours working week, from 09:45 – 17:00 Monday to Friday
