Job Description

This is a critical role for the supply chain function, as well as supporting our entire financial and commercial operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring we have a consistently accurate inventory position for all of our worldwide warehouses, as well as the stock we hold in Amazon. Our fast growth means you will also participate in our M&A process, ensuring that we pay for the correct amount of stock and have a clear starting inventory position allowing our commercial teams to trade with confidence. You will also work with our Group Finance team to ensure that company accounts are as accurate as possible.

Tasks

• Manage the month and year-end stock position for each warehouse, as well as Amazon, reconciling warehouse and Heroes stock levels and resolving any issues
• Ensure Heroes systems including Netsuite have the most accurate view of inventory in our warehouses and Amazon
• Close collaboration with the Finance team to ensure that month-end and year-end stock and financial account processes have the right level of information
• Process any claims for lost stock in warehouses
• Ensure strategic warehouses are carrying out regular stock counts and that results are fully investigated
• Resolve any inventory issues to meet statutory reporting requirements
• Collaborate with the Planning Manager to ensure stock forecasts are based on accurate worldwide inventory
• For every brand that Heroes acquires, confirming the stock level at deal close and working with the investment team to finalize closing statements
• Complete weekly reconciliations to ensure Heroes stock levels correctly reflect those in warehouses, and any issues are resolved
• Support the wider Supply Chain team with ad-hoc analysis and operational requests

Experience

• Experience working in inventory management in retail, e-commerce, or FMCG
• Broad understanding of inventory management, stock accounting process, and requirements
• Previous experience working with Netsuite is highly advantageous
• Experience working with third-party warehouses to resolve and prevent inventory issues
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Very strong Excel or GSheet skills, comfortable with pivot tables, V lookup, conditional formatting, and index matching
• Familiarity with the Google Suite of applications
