This role is crucial for someone with a robust background in ecommerce supply chain management and a deep understanding of Amazon’s Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) services. The ideal candidate will be the linchpin in ensuring our inventory on Amazon is meticulously planned and cost-optimized, contributing significantly to our small team’s operational success.

Core Responsibilities:

Amazon Inventory Planning and Optimization:
Manage our Amazon inventory with precision, balancing product availability with overstock prevention.
Utilize advanced tracking and reconciliation methods to ensure accurate inventory records.
Navigate the Amazon platform’s inventory requirements with expertise, adapting our strategies to meet these demands.

Innovate and implement strategies to refine the supply chain, focusing on efficiency and cost reduction tailored to Amazon.
Analyze supply chain processes for improvement, emphasizing performance metrics critical to Amazon operations.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to foster a streamlined supply chain suited for Amazon ecommerce demands.

Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure continuous quality and operational efficiency for our Amazon operations.

Strategic Planning and Team Collaboration:
Work closely with our small team to accurately forecast demand, ensuring inventory planning aligns with Amazon sales and marketing strategies.
Spearhead continuous improvement projects in supply chain and inventory management, driving efficiency and cost savings.

Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in inventory management, specifically within an Amazon ecommerce framework.
Comprehensive understanding of Amazon’s platform and inventory needs.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Must be highly proficient in Google Sheets and Excel for detailed inventory analysis and management.
Ability to work effectively in a small team environment, contributing to a collaborative and supportive culture.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
This position is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels in the nuances of inventory cost management—product cost, shipping cost, and storage cost optimization—specifically within the Amazon ecommerce space. If you’re passionate about driving efficiency and cost savings in a small team setting, focused on Amazon’s dynamic ecommerce platform, we’d love for you to join us.
