Job Description

As our Chief Inventory Guru and record keeper, You’ll be responsible for knowing where all our inventory is in the supply and fulfillment pipeline. You can answer the following questions when asked:
-What is the count and retail value of all inventory (available to sell or not) in all locations including a breakdown of open box and new inventory by warehouse?
-What incoming inventory has been ordered but not received?
-What inventory was fulfilled/shipped to customers?
-What orders have yet to be fulfilled?
-What returns are pending, from whom, and when are they due to arrive?
-What inventory is on loan, including the total value and, count?
-What inventory discrepancies or mysteries currently exist and the action plan to manage them?

Your responsibilities will include:
-Overseeing the organization and maintenance of our inventory systems with meticulous attention to detail.
-Keeping track of our inventory records with meticulous attention to detail.
-Ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded, categorized, and reconciled.
-Generating inventory reports that even non-accountants can understand.
-Collaborating with our team to develop and implement strategies for inventory optimization.
-Occasionally dazzling us with your ability to turn a tangled mess of data into a neatly organized spreadsheet masterpiece.

*********Requirements & Qualifications******
-A keen eye for detailed data entry and a passion for numbers and organization that borders on obsession.
-At least 2 years of experience in inventory/warehouse data management, bookkeeping, or a related field.
-Advanced proficiency in written and oral English communications — -Primary communication is with our team members, the third-party logistics (3PL) team, and our manufacturer.
-Able to derive joy from detailed, analytical focus. I.e. you love math, puzzles, or word problems
-Be reliable
-Fast and Reliable Internet
-Comfortable and CONFIDENT working at least partial US Pacific Time (PT) hours, Monday-Friday.
-Must be available for training during US Pacific coast time zone for the first 2-3 weeks.
-The role requires an estimated <=20 hours of focus per week. If you have other projects or clients, you are expected to work a focused block of time when managing your tasks. No multi-tasking amongst other clients or projects when focused on this job. -Demonstrate patience, flexibility, adaptability, and confidence when communicating with vendors, 3PL, customers, and team members. -A sense of humor and an ability to see the big picture. -Remain calm under pressure -Demonstrates focus and follow-through -Demonstrate a high degree of relationship skills and professionalism. Nice to Have Qualifications: Proficiency with: Keap CRM (infusionsoft) Packiyo Shippo Shipstation Shopify RingCentral Skype, Whatsapp LiveChat Chatbot Experience working with a company on North American hours.
