This is not an accounting role.
Time: 8 AM Pacific – 5 PM Pacific
Pay range: 800 USD – 1,000 USD per month

Join the Techvestor team as a key part of our finance department. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our financial operations run smoothly, from maintaining investment records to making sure investor inquiries are addressed. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our investments are managed efficiently and our investors are kept informed.

Job Description

– Overview
— Assistance with overseeing that all transactions are categorized correctly in software or trackers
— Saving property documents and pictures to the correct folders in Dropbox
— Uploading documents and maintaining investor and fund manager info on our investor portal
— Sending documents/contracts and inputting data into Google Sheets based on responses
— Assisting with vendor/investor/fund manager communications
— Calling about discrepancies in billing and other concerns
— Assistance with record maintenance

– Assistance with overseeing that all expenses are categorized correctly in expense software or trackers
— We have transactions that need to be categorized correctly. Our bookkeeper categorizes most of these, but may not know how to find what some are for. This job will require you to assist with finding these transactions and knowing how to find the answers to the bookkeeper’s questions.

– Saving documents to the correct folders in Dropbox
— We have very important files that come in before, during, and after we complete an investment. Part of this job will be to save these files to the correct folders in Dropbox so that our team can access them later.

– Uploading documents and maintaining info for property pages on our investor portal
— We have an investor portal through InvestNext we maintain for our investors and fund managers. Part of this job’s responsibilities will be to maintain the “Fund Raise” and “Project” sections of the portal. This section should be kept up to date with relevant fund manager information.
— We also keep individual investor’s information up to date per completed investment or allowed adjustment.

– Sending documents/contracts and inputting data into Google Sheets based on responses
— We have contracts for our investors and fund managers that need to be sent out to them quickly after they commit to investing with us. Once these contracts have been sent out and the investor has filled out and signed the contract, their responses need to be input into a Google Sheet for us to track.
— It is extremely important that this information is entered correctly as we depend on it to report and file our offerings in the correct states in order to stay compliant with federal and state laws.

– Assisting with finalizing investor and fund manager information for distributions
— We send out distributions per quarter. It is extremely important that all completed investments are accounted for, as well as the changes made to those investments to make sure we’re calculating the distributions correctly.
— Regular checks should be done to make sure that our trackers reflect the stages of investments accurately, and uncompleted investments are filtered out from the current quarter.

– Assistance with record maintenance
— Needs to be able to call government agencies/other entities and get necessary information to keep business records up to date.
— Paying taxes, fees, citations, etc. on behalf of the company.
