iOS App Developer: Experimental Projects

Hello,

I am a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur who founded a company in 2014 and successfully sold it. Currently, I am venturing into a range of experimental projects and I am looking for a talented iOS developer to collaborate with me. This opportunity is initially part-time, but for an exceptional candidate, there is potential to transition into a full-time role.

I will be developing the backend/server application, and you will be tasked with the iOS app.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Collaborate directly with me to design, develop, and implement iOS apps
2. Review code and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement
3. Contribute to multiple a project involving advanced machine learning tools for consumer products

**Requirements:**

1. Experience developing iOS apps with Swift
2. Solid understanding of backend services and authentication
3. Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Javascript
4. Strong knowledge of Git (not just GitHub)
5. Quick learner and ability to adapt to new technologies swiftly
6. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
7. Fluent in English, both written and spoken

**Desirable but not mandatory:**

1. Ability to make minor adjustments to a NodeJS backend
2. Familiarity with Kubernetes
3. Some understanding or interest in machine learning, NLPs, LLMs, although not required, will be considered a plus

Working with me will involve direct communication and swift iteration on tasks. I am hands-on and will personally review pull requests to provide constructive feedback and plan the next steps.
