iOS Developer | Fulltime WFH (M-F , Day Shift)

Our Australian client seeks a talented iOS developer to join their established team and contribute across the entire mobile app development lifecycle, from analysis and design to coding, testing, and maintenance. This role focuses on native iOS apps that integrate with cloud and web systems.
This is a rare opportunity to put your skills to work over a long period of time, as part of an established Filipino and Australian development team. And as an Australian client, you work a standard 7 am to 4 pm daily.
What You’ll Do…
New Feature Development:
* Own and implement the new feature, following iOS development best practices and coding standards.
* Collaborate with the team to design and develop the feature, ensuring it meets user expectations.
* Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the feature works across iOS devices and versions.
* Provide regular progress updates, address challenges, and propose solutions.
* Bug Fixes and Code Review:
* Identify and fix bugs related to the new feature, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
* Collaborate with team members in code reviews and address feedback.
* Work efficiently to resolve identified bugs.
Issue Tracking and Collaboration:
* Monitor JIRA for new tickets and comments related to the new feature.
* Respond promptly, provide necessary information, and collaborate with team members as needed.
* Keep JIRA updated to accurately track progress.
* Software Documentation:
* Create comprehensive documentation for the new feature, including functionality and usage instructions.
* Document implementation details, APIs used, and considerations for maintenance.
What we’re looking for..
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
* At least 2 years experience in iOS app, from design, development and implementation of native iOS mobile software (Swift)
* Understanding of RESTful API/Services
* Experience with offline storage technologies and background task scheduling
* Experience with integrated sensors, such as location services
* Working knowledge of Agile Methodology.
* Revision control experience using Git
* Experience building and deploying to the Apple Store
* Knowledge with MVVM architecture, MapBox SDK, Realm is an advantage.
* Familiar with Unit Tests
