Our IT department is seeking an energetic, committed and engaged IT Remote Helpdesk Support Technician to support, manage, develop and enhance our ICT and Managed Services and Solutions.

Key tasks and responsibilities of this role include but not limited to:

-Deal with IT tickets from students.
-Provide Technical Remote IT Support to the staff around the world.
-Provide support services using the IT ticketing system and 3rd-party tools and applications.
-Maintain service ticket and support documentation inline with company guidelines, workflows, policies and procedures
-Remotely configure, deploy IT equipment (PCs, laptops, tablets, smartphones, printers, networking equipment etc.)
-Create and remove staff and student accounts via Microsoft 365.
-Liaise and escalate faults with the higher-level support, external vendors, providers and ISPs as required
-Work closely with other staff in the HR Team to make any changes required

Essential Skills and Experience

In order to satisfy the job requirements, applicants MUST hold the following qualifications:
-Diploma in Information of Technology or higher

Desirable Skills

-1+ years exp in IT support or similar roles.
-Experience with general IT ticketing system.
-Experience with resolving wide range of IT tickets remotely including PC, Laptop, software, network, web application, printer, router, switch, WiFi, phone system, tablets and smart phone.
-Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration, OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint.
-High-level problem resolving skills combined with attention to detail
-Sound computer skills and technical competency
-Ability to learn new systems quickly, retain knowledge and skills and multitask
-A solid work ethic
-Exceptional communication skills
-A friendly, confident, professional phone manner
-Exceptional customer support skills with both internal & external clients
-Ability to work closely with others in a small team environment
-Ability to work under pressure
