Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Specialist to take our IT operations to the next level. As an IT Specialist, you will be a key player in ensuring the seamless functioning of our IT systems, providing technical support, optimizing network performance, and implementing cutting-edge solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer expert technical support, diagnosing and resolving IT issues with precision.
• Configure and install hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Administer and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and take proactive measures.
• Manage user accounts, access control, and permissions to safeguard data security.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices for data protection.
• Collaborate with the IT team on planning and executing technology projects.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT procedures, configurations, and technical resources.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Develop and maintain backup and recovery plans to safeguard data against loss.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven track record in IT support, network administration, and system maintenance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, and other relevant software.
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and strong communication abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Cisco CCNA, SQL, CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL and database query.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience driver; must be able to drive.
