Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Recruiter to assist one of our clients based in Melbourne Australia, shifts will be in Australia east coast time. This role is rendering 40 hours per week with a possibility to be permanent (8 hours per day). The candidate for this role must be heavily knowledgeable in IT practises, IT language and have over 3 years’ experience within the IT recruitment industry. The candidate must also be a proven closer of IT recruitment roles and work to meet rapid deadlines to place candidates. Hiring role examples:

Tasks:
• Source mid to senior level, highly specialist candidates for leading local businesses in Australia
• Screen and interview candidates to ensure we put forward the best quality candidates to clients.
• Consult with clients on overall hiring strategies and tailor your approach accordingly.
• Keep up to date with latest industry trends to ensure candidates can be evaluated against industry standard assessments.
• Build and develop your client portfolio, providing expert consultation to ensure repeat business.
• Generate new leads and clients using your network of contacts.
• Network with potential candidates to promote our employer brand and ensure we attract the best professionals.
• Able to communicate effectively and have strong knowledge in IT language and principles.
• Proven ability to close any open roles in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
• Proven work experience in recruitment as an IT Technical Recruiter
• Bachelor’s degree or certification in information technology highly regarded.
• Hands-on experience with various interview formats etc Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams.
• Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles and converse in IT lingo with clients and candidates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong tenacity and ability to build a solid network.
