We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Remote Support Specialist. We are growing rapidly in an exciting coffee & tea market and are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team.

Position Summary:

As an IT Support Specialist, you will work as a member of the technical support team. You will be required to provide telephone and remote access support for hardware and software for our stores. You must be able to manage and perform assigned tasks effectively, work together with others as a cohesive team, communicate and act professionally within the workplace and maintain a good knowledge of existing and future software and hardware products.

Responsibilities include:

– Act as the support liaison between Corporate, POS Vendor, and venue locations.
– Respond to queries on the phone, via email/Slack, or through remote access
– Resolve support tickets
– Develop and improve documentation to support problem analysis and resolution.
– Maintain technical knowledge related to our suite of hardware and software product lines and the overall industry.
– Provide telephone and remote access support for clients in order to provide quick resolutions to problems.
– Provide training to clients regarding software, hardware, and troubleshooting techniques.
– Maintain, and ensure maximum uptime for critical systems

Requirements include:

– Previous Restaurant POS Support Experience a BIG PLUS!
– Knowledge and experience in networking, routers, switches, etc.,
– Knowledge of information technology general controls and computer hardware/software systems
– Experience on an IT helpdesk or in a technical support role
– Excellent communication skills including active listening
– Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
– Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
– Must be able to read and write in the English language
– Strong customer support skills
– Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule (US timezone)
