Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist with a strong background in CakePHP, along with comprehensive skills in both front-end and back-end IT support. This role requires a deep understanding of websites and related platforms. API integration is also a must have skill that will enable us to enhance our digital platforms and support our clients’ educational services/tutoring company.

Responsibilities:
– Provide expert IT support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for our internal systems and customer-facing platforms.
– Develop and maintain applications using CakePHP, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.
– Manage both front-end and back-end services, including planning, design, and implementation.
– Conduct regular updates and upgrades to ensure systems are secure and efficient.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various software tools and databases with our website through APIs.
– Oversee the deployment of new applications and handle the integration of new systems with existing setup.
– Ensure all IT practices comply with industry standards and security protocols.
– Bug testing

Requirements:
– Proven experience as an IT support specialist, particularly with extensive knowledge in CakePHP.
– Strong expertise in both front-end and back-end development.
– Familiarity with website architecture and API integration.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide hands-on support for IT issues.
– Ability to work flexibly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of explaining complex IT concepts in simple terms.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Highly organised
– Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Rate:
Part Time: $780-$840 per month
Full Time: $1480-$1600
