Job Description:
• Coordinate the team’s daily activities, ensuring timely response to user requests and issues.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review ongoing issues, upcoming challenges, and provide updates on organizational changes.
• Develop training programs to upskill support team members.
• Work closely with other departments to understand and address their IT needs.
• Oversee regular system backups, disaster recovery, and security measures.
• Monitor system performance and coordinate any necessary hardware or software upgrades.
• Liaise with vendors for procurement, service quality, and cost negotiations.
• Ensure integration and compatibility of new tools or software with existing systems.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in line with the QMS including business interruption, disaster planning, cyber and data security, and privacy protection.
• Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, and by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of support technician experience
• Knowledgeable in CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Desktop Administration Certification, CCNA or relevant work experience
• 1+ years as a people manager/team leader
• Proficiency in Operating Systems (Windows Desktop)
• Proficiency in Remote Administration tools
• MS365 Administration
• Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, VOIP)
• Hardware troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to work under strict deadlines, flexibility to think of alternative solutions, attention to detail, highly adaptable to changes.
• Amenable to a graveyard shift (12:00am- 9:00am MNL) or shifting schedules only when deemed necessary and other working conditions as required.
• Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously in a fast-paced environment
