Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
Helpdesk Support: Respond to and resolve a wide range of IT-related issues, including hardware and software problems, network connectivity, and user account management. Provide timely and effective support to end-users, ensuring their productivity is maintained.

System Administration: Manage and maintain the company’s computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure. Perform regular system updates, backups, and security checks to ensure the integrity and reliability of our IT environment.

Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems, utilizing your strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to identify and implement effective solutions.

User Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to employees on the use of various software applications, hardware, and IT systems. Ensure users are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to maximize the efficiency of our technology resources.

Project Participation: Collaborate with the IT team on the implementation of new technologies, software upgrades, and infrastructure improvements. Contribute your technical expertise and project management skills to ensure successful project delivery.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of IT incidents, resolutions, and system configurations. Prepare reports and documentation to support the continuous improvement of our IT services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as common software applications
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Certification in CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL is a plus
