Position Overview:
As an IT Support Specialist, you will excel in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, providing user assistance for login problems and password resets, and installing/configuring software applications. Also troubleshoot network connectivity problems and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes and configurations.

Tasks:
-Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
-Provide technical support to end-users for computer systems, software applications, and hardware.
-Assist users with login problems and password resets.
-Educate users on basic computer usage and best practices.
-Install and configure software applications and updates.
-Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
-Maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
-Create user guides and training materials.
-Communicate effectively with end-users and other IT staff.
-Provide status updates on ongoing issues and resolutions.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in similar IT role
-Proficient in managing Microsoft Windows and macOS environments.
-Experienced in utilizing Google Workspace for efficient collaboration.
-Competent in employing various antivirus and anti-malware tools for system protection.
-Skilled in using remote desktop tools for efficient system management.
-Possesses a foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles.
-Demonstrates knowledge of firewalls and antivirus software for system security.
-Proficient in utilizing Google Sheets, Docs, and Slide for effective documentation.
-Experienced in using wiki or knowledge base platforms for organized information storage.
-Well-versed in email clients for professional communication.
-Familiar with helpdesk or ticketing systems, such as Gorgias & Zendesk, for efficient issue resolution.
-Proficient in using remote support tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or similar applications for remote assistance.
Requirements:
-40 working hours per week with five 9-hour shifts with a 1-hour lunch break. Availability to work weekends if needed.
-WAH Equipment: (desktop/laptop, reliable internet connection, quiet workplace)
-English Proficiency: C2 (Impeccable grammar and fluent speaking)
-Certifications: Google IT Support and CompTIA A+
