We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Technician to join our dynamic team.
Position: Full-Time
Work hours: EST
Pay rate: $4/hour
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, at Level 2 or above.
The role will involve providing technical assistance and support to our clients, resolving complex issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of their IT systems.
Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Deliver expert technical support to clients, resolving escalated IT issues promptly and efficiently.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, updates, and patches to ensure system stability and security.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference and knowledge sharing.
Client Communication: Interact professionally with clients to provide clear and concise explanations of technical solutions and recommendations.
Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other team members and departments to address complex technical challenges.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that enhance client IT environments.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, in a Level 2 or higher role.
Preferred Skills to include but not limited to:
– Windows 7, 10, 11
– Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2021
– System administration including Active Directory, Windows Group Policy
– Troubleshooting DHCP, DNS, file, and print services
– Solid knowledge of TCP/IP networking
– Solid knowledge of Microsoft MS Office 365
– Experience with RDP and Citrix
– Experience with Remote Management Tools
– VLANS, Routers (VPN, VOIP systems is a plus)
Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems, networking protocols, and cloud-based services.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are advantageous.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in ENGLISH to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving technologies and client needs.
Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining positive client relationships.
