Job Description

Role Overview: As an Item Master, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and efficient item management across our organization. Your responsibilities will span from supporting our internal CPQ Item Configuration Application to maintaining item data in our ERP system. This role requires being online and logging activity between 8:30 EST and 9:30 EST.

CPQ (Configure Price Quote) Support:
? Collaborate with the legacy CPQ (bisibi) team to provide technical assistance to users of the Bisibi Application.
? Troubleshoot issues related to item configuration, pricing, and quoting within the Bisibi system.
ERP Item Creation:
? Create and maintain item records in our ERP system (such as NetSuite or Oracle) based on business requirements.
? Ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to naming conventions.
Ecommerce Environment:
? Support legacy ecommerce platforms used for business-to-business transactions.
? Monitor item-related processes, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and pricing as related to items.
CPQ System Migration Assistance:
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and migrate to a new CPQ system.
? Support Zekeke (our chosen go-forward CPQ solution) and contribute to its successful adoption.
Item Configuration Corrections:
Legacy Platform Support:
? Ensure smooth operation of the existing e-commerce system.
? Address user queries related to item availability, pricing, and order processing.
Item Data Management:
? Regularly review item configurations and identify discrepancies.
? Monitor integrations (such as Google Merchant Center) to ensure accurate representation of items.
? Collaborate with merchants and other stakeholders to rectify any issues.
? Maintain accurate item information, including descriptions, images, and pricing.
? Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize item presentation.
? Continuously monitor item configurations and address any discrepancies.
? Ensure accurate representation of items in the new system.
Integration Monitoring:
? Monitor integrations with external platforms (e.g., Google Merchant Center) to ensure accurate item listings.
? Troubleshoot any discrepancies or errors.
Legacy System Enhancements:
? Propose and implement improvements to enhance user experience and streamline processes.
? Work closely with IT and development teams.
System Implementation:
? Collaborate with project teams to implement Zekeke (our chosen CPQ solution).
? Configure item-related settings, rules, and workflows.
Data Migration:
? Migrate existing item data from legacy systems to Zekeke.
? Ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Training and Adoption:
? Train end-users on Zekeke’s item configuration features.
? Promote adoption and best practices.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
? Experience with CPQ systems (Zakeke preferred).
? Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred, others are a plus).
? Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
? Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
? Experience with CPQ system implementations.
? Familiarity with Ecommerce platforms.
? Strong project management skills.
? Adaptability to change and eagerness to learn new technologies.
? Experience with ecommerce systems.
? Familiarity with business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) processes.
? Strong problem-solving skills.
? Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
