Our partner company is a New Zealand based company who specializes in Integration. We are looking for seasoned, well-experienced Java Developers who have strong development skills as the team continually grows locally. Excellent communication and English are also a must.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
– Conceptualize, develop, and implement application and data integration solutions utilizing company core integration products and platforms.
– Assist in the production of designs and solutions.
– Collaborate with analysts, architects, and system owners in the testing of newly integrated software programs and applications.
– Ensure that business processes and system requirements are fully understood.
– Analyze issues and develop fixes to existing integrations as part of Change Control assignments.
– Work on a client site with minimal supervision.
– Escalate issues when they’re encountered.
– Develop and deliver code and configuration to a high standard, including documentation and a suitable level of testing.
– Follow prescribed coding standards and ensure that code is version controlled.
– Participate in code reviews and be open to working in a pair programming environment.
– Provide professional customer service ensuring that communication is always clear and appropriate
– Act with professionalism always on both client sites and within the office.
– Ensure all behaviors positively represent the company on both the customer site and in day-to-day work activities.
Educational Attainment:
– BS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
Minimum Job Experience:
– Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Java Developer or similar
Required Skills:
– Experience using Spring Boot, Java, Maven, HTML5, CSS/Sass/Less and modern JavaScript web technologies, libraries/frameworks (e.g. Angular , React, RxJS)
– Show flexibility and ability to adapt with changing technology.
– Conscientious individual demonstrating attention to detail along with high levels of ownership and commitment.
– Team player who is aware of the impact they have on the internal team whilst maintaining awareness of the customer demands.
– Continuous learning of different testing requirements to ensure that the customers’ needs are met.
– Has the desire to improve self-knowledge and skills, identifying and attending relevant training workshops/seminars/online learning where appropriate.
– Any other reasonable request from IntegrationWorks management.
– Direct, hands-on experience with at least one integration tool (e.g., Mule, WSO2, IIB, SAP PO, Boomi, Biztalk).
– Experience with version control systems (GIT/SVN).
– Demonstrated ability to meet commitments and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment with a high-level of accuracy and efficiency.
– Good time management skills, with attention to detail and organisation in all aspects of your work
Preferred Skills:
– Strong experience as a Full Stack Developer with fair to good understanding of performance tuning.
– Experience in a programming language Java or similar (e.g. Python, C, C++, C#, etc.) and understanding of the software development life cycle
– Basic programming skills using object-oriented programming (OOP) languages with in-depth knowledge of common APIs and data structures like Collections, Maps, lists, Sets etc.
Salary: PHP 130,000 – 150,000
Salary could be given in PHP, NZD, or GPT
