Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
-Assess current work process and propose automation using IT solutions
-Develop new applications to support the business processes which are currently being run using macros
-Maintain and support the office IT system
-Provide support to the office staff to resolve IT related issues
-Once the system has been developed then you will continue to maintain and support the system
To be successful in this role, ideally you should have:
-Proven experience in developing software application from scratch ideally with Java and especially for the finance industry
-Understanding about financial markets – Bloomberg and trading
-Access to reliable and high speed internet
-Available during Sydney hours to collaborate with the company owner and have progress updates
