Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with expert-level proficiency in Xero to join our team for 10 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, organized, and capable of managing multiple financial tasks efficiently. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and aiding in budget and forecast preparations for our group of companies.

Key Responsibilities:

– Expert-level use of Xero for bookkeeping and accounting tasks
– Reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy
– Conducting payroll for our group of companies
– Managing and updating our chart of accounts
– Establishing and maintaining budgets and financial forecasts
– Meeting with the company owners weekly to review and discuss financial reports and books

Qualifications:

– Proven experience as a bookkeeper with expert knowledge of Xero
– Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
– Strong communication skills for regular updates and meetings with company owners
– Experience with financial forecasting and budget management
