Job Description: SEO and Web Designer (Advanced Level)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEO and Web Designer to join our team and take charge of optimizing our websites for both search engines and user experience. As an Advanced Level SEO and Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing effective SEO strategies, conducting website audits, troubleshooting errors, and ensuring our websites are fully optimized for both mobile and desktop platforms.

Responsibilities:

SEO Strategy Development:
Develop and execute advanced-level SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive traffic, and increase conversions.

Website Audits:

Conduct comprehensive website audits to identify technical issues, on-page SEO opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Mobile and Desktop Optimization: Optimize WordPress themes and website layouts to ensure seamless user experiences across both mobile and desktop devices.

Analytics and Reporting:

Utilize analytical tools to monitor website performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular reports to identify growth opportunities and areas of improvement.

Troubleshooting and Error Resolution:

Identify and resolve website errors, broken links, and other technical issues affecting SEO and user experience.
Stay Updated with Google Algorithm Changes: Keep abreast of the latest Google algorithm updates and search engine trends, adjusting SEO strategies accordingly to maintain optimal website rankings.
Keyword Research: Perform extensive keyword research to identify relevant and high-traffic keywords, ensuring their integration into website content and meta tags.

On-Page Optimization:

Optimize website content, meta tags, and other on-page elements to improve search engine visibility and user engagement.
Link Building: Develop and implement effective link-building strategies to improve website authority and domain rankings.
SEO Marketing Strategies: Plan and execute effective SEO marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and attract target audiences.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with the content team, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive SEO and design strategies across all web assets.

Competitive Analysis:
Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark our websites against industry standards and identify areas for differentiation and improvement.
Required Skills:

Proven experience as an SEO and Web Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, search engine algorithms, and best practices.
Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
Expertise in web design and development, particularly on WordPress, with experience in responsive design for mobile and desktop platforms.

Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address technical issues and website errors efficiently.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
Up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and digital marketing strategies.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Tools Access:

Google Analytics and Google Search Console access for website analytics and tracking.
SEO tools like Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar for keyword research and competitor analysis.
Access to web design and development tools, especially for WordPress theme setup and customization.
