We are a fast-growing startup trading firm specializing in complex option portfolio strategies. Our innovative approach aims to capitalize on option implied volatility discrepancies in the capital markets, driving significant risk-adjusted returns. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented Lead C# Developer to join us remotely and play a key role in implementing our cutting-edge trading strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
– Design and develop the architecture of our automated trading system, including both backend server(s) and frontend client(s).
– Implement the Core Trading Algorithm and Portfolio Risk Overlay to manage option positions and effectively hedge market dislocation risk.
– Collaborate with traders to understand their requirements and translate them into efficient and robust C# and SQL code.
– Utilize your expertise in machine learning, Bayesian statistics, and/or AI models to enhance our trading strategy’s performance.
– Create seamless data flow and communication mechanisms between different components of the trading system.
– Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and backtesting, to ensure reliability and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
– Strong proficiency in C# development with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming.
– Intermediate or better SQL skills, preferably in MySQL
– Proven experience in designing and implementing complex financial systems, especially within the equity options or derivatives trading domain.
– Familiarity with machine learning, Bayesian statistics, and/or AI models applied to capital markets.
– Solid knowledge of option pricing models, implied and realized volatility, and risk management techniques.

Position Type:
Available as either a full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (12 to 35 hours per week) contract position with the potential to convert to full-time based on performance.
