Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team on a freelance basis to support the creation of an online education program focused on developing successful advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and Shopify. The primary task will involve editing screen sharing videos, ensuring sensitive information is blurred out, while maintaining high-quality educational content for our customers.

Responsibilities

– Edit and produce high-quality video content from screen recordings demonstrating how to conduct analyses and set up ad campaigns on Meta and Shopify.
– Blur out all sensitive data related to Meta and Shopify accounts to protect privacy.
– Enhance audio and visual quality of videos, including adding text overlays, transitions, and other effects to make the content engaging and easy to follow.
– Work closely with the content creator to align the videos with the educational goals of the program.
– Provide suggestions to improve video content and engagement based on editing expertise.
– Ensure all videos are edited and delivered on schedule.

Requirements

– Proven experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio showcasing your work.
– Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
– Experience with blurring or masking techniques to hide sensitive information in videos.
– Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
– Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
– Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with the content creator.
– Interest or experience in online marketing and advertising platforms is a plus.
– Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to safeguard the confidential information of the businesses featured in the videos.

Project Details

– Duration: This is a project-based freelance position. The initial project is expected to last 1-2 months, with the possibility of extension based on program needs and performance.
– Work Location: Remote.
