JOB DESCRIPTION: EXECUTIVE VA
We are looking for a highly creative individual with a passion for secretarial work, a great attitude, superb communication skills (and bonus points if you like cool sunglasses). If that sounds like you, read on. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with an international team, so if you aren’t 100% comfortable speaking and writing in English, please do not apply.
As an Executive VA, you will assist in ensuring the smooth operation of Chamelo and provide essential support to the Chamelo CEO. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks, and the flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Project management for Chamelo and the Chamelo CEO
• Assisting with hiring: searching for candidates, vetting candidates, screening candidates
• Booking travel for the Chamelo CEO and management
• Booking travel using credit card points and airline miles
• Helping manage schedules and communications, ensuring important emails/messages and meetings aren’t missed
• Reaching out to the CEO in case of emergencies
• Conducting research on various topics, from the best restaurants to government funding opportunities
• Arranging shipments
• Outreach activities
Qualifications:
• A hunger to learn
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written English proficiency
• Ability to work flexible hours
• A fast learner with the willingness to solve challenges independently
• Willingness to work within a startup environment
• Experience as a travel agent is a plus
• Experience with Hubstaff and Asana is a plus
