Essential:

Experience working with a UK firm of Accountants and good knowledge of VAT, Self-Assessment, Corporation Tax, UK Payroll.

Key Qualifications:

Qualified Accountant (CPA or equivalent)
Certifications in Xero and/or QuickBooks
Excellent written and spoken English
Experience with cloud-based accounting software preferred

Bonus Points:

Experience with TaxCalc Accounts and Tax production

Responsibilities:

Manage bookkeeping for clients
Prepare VAT returns, year-end accounts, and tax returns
Onboard new clients and manage their accounts
Communicate effectively with HMRC on client-related matters
Work with the UK team emailing and calling clients
Follow up with clients to ensure timely receipt of records
Assist in creating and updating fee proposals
Manage TRS (Trust Registration Service)
