About the Role:
Square 1 Group is in search of a top-tier Bookkeeper to manage our financial landscapes using QuickBooks Simple Start. In this role, you will dive deep into our financials, ensuring meticulous tracking of income and expenses to keep our accounts in shipshape. As a cornerstone of our financial team, you will organize, maintain, and report on our financial data with precision, preparing crucial documents like balance sheets and profit & loss statements to assist our accountants.
Key Responsibilities:
Masterfully manage QuickBooks Simple Start to record all financial transactions accurately.
Categorize and organize transactions according to our chart of accounts.
Perform meticulous bank reconciliations to ensure our records are accurate and up-to-date.
Prepare detailed financial reports including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
Adhere strictly to financial policies and procedures, maintaining consistent record-keeping.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial entries swiftly.
Collaborate closely with our accounting team, providing essential data for financial processing.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, specifically skilled in using QuickBooks Simple Start.
A strong understanding of basic accounting principles and a track record of efficient financial reporting.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, capable of multitasking effectively.
A high level of integrity when handling confidential financial information.
Excellent communication skills, adept at coordinating with both team members and external partners.
