Are you an experienced bookkeeper looking for a long-term remote opportunity? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate-Level Virtual Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team and collaborate with our Head Bookkeeper.
About Us:
We specialize in real estate deals, joint ventures, residential investments, and comprehensive property management. Currently, we manage 40 properties in Alberta and British Columbia and are looking to expand. We are seeking assistance in managing tenants and growing our property management operations to meet increasing demands.
What You’ll Do:
– Handle daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
– Verify receipts and trace payments via cash or transfers.
– Monitor company expenses and generate invoices.
– Assist with payroll and preparation of financial reports.
– Ensure transaction accuracy and correct ledger entries.
– Develop daily and monthly financial and statistical reports for management.
– Track and record accounts receivable and payable.
– Manage data and files efficiently.
– Participate in virtual meetings.
– Research and enhance financial processes.
– Compare actual results to budget.
– Assist in decision-making and financial analysis.
– Prepare balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and statements of shareholders’ equity.
What We’re Looking For:
– 5 years of bookkeeping experience.
– Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field preferred.
– Proficiency in MS Office, Google Tools, and QuickBooks.
– Excellent attention to detail.
– Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
– High integrity and confidentiality.
– Deep knowledge of bookkeeping procedures, best practices, and terminology.

Technical Requirements:
– A reliable laptop or desktop with a headset.

Work Setup:
– Remote/Work From Home.
– Fixed schedule: Monday to Friday Canada (PST), 25-30 hours per week
– Shifts: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 12:30 PM – 7:00 PM Canada (PST) with a 1.5-hour break.
– Must be dedicated to working during assigned hours.
Compensation:
