We are a US-based Digital Marketing Agency looking for an experienced WordPress Developer.
We seek an experienced WordPress developer familiar with builders like GeneratePress to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing WordPress websites, themes, and plugins. In addition, the candidate should be knowledgeable in PHP, HTML, CSS, and other programming languages to ensure that our website projects are efficient and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop custom WordPress websites, themes, and plugins using builders like GeneratePress.
• Write efficient, clean, and maintainable code in PHP, HTML, CSS, and other programming languages as needed.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure the timely delivery of website projects.
• Troubleshoot issues and debug code to ensure websites are fully functional and performant.
• Perform regular updates and maintenance of WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web development.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or at least 10 years of proven experience as a web developer.
• 3+ years of experience in WordPress development, focusing on custom website development, theme development, and plugin development.
• Experience with builders like GeneratePress is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and other programming languages.
• Experience with JavaScript, jQuery and other front-end frameworks is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of WordPress best practices, security, and optimization techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
