Joinery Draftsman (Pytha Software)

We are searching for an enthusiastic Joinery Draftsman (w/ Pytha experience) to join one of Australia’s top ten premiere joinery companies, completing high quality fit out projects for all the major construction and fit out organizations across Australia.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to Production Manager
Overseeing, managing and complete client’s commercial projects within the agreed budget and timeframes and in accordance with the highest industry.
Will be responsible for designing of projects from architectural or drawings provided along with specification, ordering materials and hardware for the projects and production jobs, sending them to the floor.
Candidate will be responsible for set out and management of multiple projects via Pytha and will provide guidance on the overall projects and technical matters.
Candidate will be providing Shop & production drawings, so attention to detail is crucial.
Candidate will also positively represent the company of the client with its key stakeholder including company’s client and suppliers.

Education and Work Experience
With at least three (3) years’ experience as a Draftsman or similar role.
Experience with Pytha.
Experience in the commercial joinery industry is preferred.
Good knowledge of materials used in the joinery industry.
Proficient in decision making.
Have a good attention to detail.
Must be able to read & understand Architectural plans.
Have excellent communication skills.
The ability to provide high quality workmanship whilst working towards a deadline.
