Key Responsibilities:

– Provide support to the Senior Design Engineer in developing designs, creating detailed drawings for precast products, and compiling ‘Issued For Manufacture’ drawings and technical documentation.
– Assist in the development of lifting designs and drawings, and obtain Ancon approvals for lifting plans.
– Work closely with the Senior Design Engineer on New Product Development (NPD) projects, focusing on innovative product design, drawing creation, and preparing documentation for authority approvals and calculation reports.

Skills and Competencies:

– A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
– At least 4 years of relevant experience in design and engineering, with a preference for backgrounds in precast concrete production or similar industries.
– Proficiency in CAD software (Solidoworks) and a good understanding of concrete structure design principles.
– Proven experience in and knowledge of precast concrete production and manufacturing processes, and Finite element analysis (FEA)
– Exceptional planning and organizational abilities, capable of juggling multiple tasks and adhering to strict deadlines.
– Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
– A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively across various sites and building strong relationships with team members, clients, and external stakeholders.
– High level of adaptability, professional communication, and comprehension.
– Quick to grasp product development requirements, ensuring all customer and production needs are met in accordance with legislative and safety standards.

Additional Information:

Start Date: 1st-2nd week Feb 2024
Employment Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Work Schedule: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Philippine Time
Reporting To: Senior Design Engineer
Compensation: Php48k per month, Weekly payments via PayPal, including paid vacation and sick leaves
Work Arrangement: Remote/work-from-home with a requirement for complete home equipment setup (desktop/laptop, headset, stable internet, webcam) and a contingency plan for power or connectivity disruptions.
